Biographies:
JASON CARVER: Performing since the age of 20, Jason has traveled all over the southeast giving shows in a variety of settings. As the Jason Carver Band, he was a regional favorite party band and was also known for his southern rock sound in numerous country clubs. From this success grew his current involvement as the lead singer of Haywire. Haywire’s high energy shows keep the crowd dancing to new country and southern rock hits as well as all the party favorites. No stranger to the dance floor, his dance skills have won him much recognition on the country circuit, including a $10,000 top prize in a national CMT televised competition. Don’t be surprised to see Jason take the show from the stage into the crowd and dance floor. When asked to describe Jason’s unique vocal sound, many agree that it's a unique mix of country and rock & roll with a soulful groove. This talented singer/songwriter continues to raise the bar in his performances with his original songs, some of which have even been specifically requested for a couple’s first dance. Fans love the consistency in Jason’s shows. Regardless of the crowd size, they know they are in for a high energy treat.
LAURIE PHILLIPS: Laurie brings a playful stage presence and gets the crowd involved in the show. From rockin' tunes to country hits and even slow dances, Laurie is a favorite! Her dance background and musicality are a valuable asset in keeping the crowd on the dance floor all night long. (For our country events, you might even see her joining the guests on the floor for the "Tush Push"!)
